Sunset after a hot late Summer day

Yesterday was a hot one. And to cap it off, we had the most glorious sunset which I enjoyed with a dram or 2 of Highland Park 12yo malt in the company of good friends. Highland Perthshire at it’s best!

Late Summer scorcher!

It’s a hot one today at the Stable Loft. The temperature in Pitlochry has hit 28c today!  Our patio area is a real sun trap - sheltered and in full sun with a picnic table, Weber BBQ and sunshade. As well as a super view over Loch Tummel. The temperature is over 28c today. Just glorious!

Autumn colours around Tummel and Faskally

Loch Tummel and Faskally are at their most beautiful in the Autumn, with the trees ablaze with colours. Misty mornings and glowing sunrises lighting up the trees to refresh the soul.

Enjoy the field in front of the Stable Loft

It’s a bit of a grey misty day but the field in front of the Stable Loft is looking lush and green. Off to take the dogs for a walk around it.
