We are using the Covid19 coronavirus lockdown to carry out maintenance and upgrades to the Stable Loft. Freshening up the decor, new applicances and exterior upgrades.  Meanwhile, we are lucky that we have the Loch Tummel shore on our doorstep and the sun was shining today so we wandered down the the shore and cast a few pike lures.  Sunny days are around the corner and we look forward to welcomin...

01.01.2020 was a lovely day at The Stable Loft. Blowing away the cobwebs and Hogmanay hangovers.  Aberfeldy’s Hogmanay was another fantastic night with local bands and local resident Ed Sheeran making an appearance in the newly renovated Square.  The holiday cottage is getting busy with bookings rolling in for the 2020 season. The popularity of the new Heart200 route looks set to bring in more cyc...

The “Heart 200” is a new touring route of approximately 200 miles around Perth, Stirling, The Trossachs and Highland Perthshire – the very Heart of Scotland.  And The Stable Loft is right in the middle of it, just off the route near Tummel Bridge   We are the perfect stop off, halfway round the route and a great base to take more time to explore the splendour of Highland Perthshire.

We also have Nest smart central heating so the Stable Loft really is a snug and warm place to be when the weather turns bad. And the view of Tummel from the window is always great, whatever the weather!
